The major goal at the Department of Cell Biology at Duke University Medical Center is to understand how cells build and regenerate tissue. Scientists work in close collaboration with physicians to combine the power of genetics in model organisms such as the mouse and zebrafish with cutting edge imaging and microscopy. The department watches cells as they make organs like the heart, brain and lungs, and follow the behavior of stem cells in these tissues as they heal damage caused by injury or infection. Translating these discoveries to humans would make huge strides in heart and lung disease.

Visit http://www.kevinmangum.com for a full list of videos. Enjoy. The ability of tissues to repair themselves is influenced by their capacity to regenerate the missing tissue and their ability that is inherent for them to divide and undergo mitosis. In most continuously dividing tissues the mature cells are terminally differentiated and short-lived. As mature cells die the tissue is replenished by the differentiation of cells generated from stem cells. Thus, in these tissues there is a homeostatic equilibrium between the replication and differentiation of stem cells and the death of the mature, fully differentiated cells. Regenerative medicine is the "process of replacing or regenerating human cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function".

An injury describes an area of loss of continuity in any body tissue, this may occur as a result of trauma, infection or a pathological process. The mode of wound healing depends on the powers of regeneration a particular tissue possesses. The following are some examples at specific sites. Liver Liver is able to regenerate very well. For example, acute hepatic injury caused by viral hepatitis or toxin exposure, can regenerate completely restoring full form and function. However, chronic insults such as ongoing exposure to alcohol or hepatitis C virus, may result in the formation of collagen based scars and the development of cirrhosis. This latter process is associated with loss of functional liver tissue, so may progress to liver failure. This gives hope for heavy drinkers; liver function may be restored, sometimes after many years of abuse, as long as the person stops drinking before cirrhosis is established. Kidneys In the kidneys, epithelial tissues lining renal tubules may regenerate but whole nephrons do not. This means that mild damage to the kidneys will heal completely but more extensive injuries will result in scar formation. The glomeruli are the balls of capillaries within a Bowman's capsule and do not regenerate after injury. However, if one kidney is removed, the glomeruli in the other kidney enlarge to compensate.

The Hermetic tradition of secrecy, narcissistic, racist, greedy, and corrupted principles need to come to an end if we are to survive and prosper in the near and immediate future. I would like to take this opportunity to mention that the tradition of silence is attributed to one of the four pillars of Solomon's Temple. It had often been proclaimed that silence is might. This is undoubtedly true to some extent, especially in regards to an alchemist and magician's ascent, however this is no longer appropriate nor acceptable. Known as somatic stem cells, they can be found in children, as well as adults. Research into somatic stem cells has been fueled by their abilities to divide or self-renew indefinitely and generate all the cell types of the organ from which they originate — potentially regenerating the entire organ from a few cells. "Early in life, stem cells have the extraordinary potential to develop into any type of cell in the human body. They start in the embryo as unprogrammed cells, then become specialized to create bone, muscle, skin, the heart, the brain, and over 250 other types of specialized cells. These are called pluripotent stem cells." "By extracting molecular bundles called microvesicles from stem cells, scientists can harness the same neuro-protective and healing properties seen with whole stem cell treatments. Microvesicles normally act like cell-to-cell mail, and they bud from one cell, bearing proteins and snippets of genetic material that tame the immune system and coordinate neighboring cells. In rats with irradiated brains, the bundles safeguarded brain structures, reduced inflammation, and preserved cognitive functions compared with rats that didn’t get the cellular cargo, researchers report." #Detoxification and #Fruits: Superior deep-tissue detoxification can only take place with fruits. Vegetables, because of their lower energetic, antioxidant and astringent properties, and their complex cellulose structures will only detoxify you so far, and then you will reach a plateau. I see this all the time in various detox and health retreat centers around the country. I have a lot of clients who have tried these "detox centers" and then call me out of desperation. They are always craving fruits! Add fruit and botanicals to the mix and you will have a superior way to win over the cancer you created. Fruits to the rescue always! Dr Morse youtube channel! https://www.youtube.com/user/robertmo... Lifestyle: The lifestyle is your number one key to success. What you eat, drink, breathe, and what you put on your skin is how you bring the outside world in. Study and learn the concepts in "The Detox Miracle Sourcebook" in reference to a raw food diet. The greater percentage of raw fruits and vegetables (salads) you eat, the greater your success. If you have cancer, a spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s or any other chronic or degenerative condition, you will want to consume a 100% raw, LIVE food diet of fruits and vegetables (salads) only. #Lymphatic System: Always move your Lymph System. This is the most vital system of your body to detoxify and is essential to your success. I will even be so bold as to say that everyone has a stagnant lymph system to one degree or another. This is vital in that all your cells "eat" and "excrete." Your lymph system is your sewer system. Your lymph nodes are your septic tanks. Keep them cleaned out! 1. Use an herbal formula for your kidneys and eat lots of fruits. Your lymph system uses your kidneys as one of the main doorways for body's sewage to be removed (other doors include the skin and the colon). 2. Clean and enhance your GI tract. Raw foods and intestinal restorative herbal formulas are the supreme way to accomplish this. Do not use laxatives or purgatives if you can help it. These are very addicting. You want to restore proper digestion, absorption, and elimination through this "hub" of your body. One to three colonics may also help. Dr. Bernard Jensen’s Colema Board is a better idea yet. I do not recommend acidophilus, bifidophilus or any other intestinal flora. Your intestinal flora will restore itself. 3. "Sweat!" Underactive thyroid function makes it more difficult to sweat, and sweating is vital to remove toxins from the body. Your skin is your largest eliminative organ; called the "third kidney". Keep it clean and stimulated with skin brushing, regular as well as hot and cold showers, and sweating. 4. Walk and swim! Exercise is extremely important in moving your lymphatic system, especially in your lower extremities. Caution: Make sure your kidneys are filtering before vigorous exercise. Herbal Parasite Formula: You will want to spend a month on an herbal parasite formula. This will help get rid of larger worms, flukes, etc. It will also help reduce the microorganisms that affect your desire for foods; candida, bacteria, etc. Cleansing Process: One of the most important things that you can learn about the detoxification process is the cleansing process or what's called the "healing crisis". Study and learn this process and you'll understand what "diseases" truly are. Remember so-called disease symptoms manifest from only two sources – congestion and cellular weakness. That’s it! FINALLY: Attitude, attitude, attitude! Enjoy what you’re doing. Always remember WHY you're getting your body, or physical vehicle, healthy. It's your mobility in this physical world. Without it, life isn't much fun here! Don't let anything stop you and don’t take no for an answer. Make your body do what you want it to do. Many of your weaknesses are genetically passed to you. Your toxicity may have developed when you were still incubating inside your mother, so give it time. Vibrant health in this world does not occur overnight. Sometimes it's hard work, but well worth it! It connects you with life and love. You are the healer. These opinions, suggestions, and references made are based on my personal experience and is for personal study and research purposes only. This is about health and vitality, not disease. original upload: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvGtDnv0DXk DEAR FRIENDS, if you appreciate the material i share, and would like to help me out with my productions, please support my productions by becoming my patron here: https://www.patreon.com/Liftingtheveil or contribute on my site. much LOVE AND GRATITUDE!
